Kacy Van Choudury (Kay Van) began writing in his childhood, dreaming of sharing his
stories with readers. For over 25 years, he worked as a Building Engineer for a New York-
based Architectural Engineering firm. The 9/11 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers, a
building he greatly admired, deeply impacted him. He wrote his first book, “Love and
Death,” in response to this tragedy, but chose to delay publication out of respect for the
victims and their families. He felt immediate publication would commercialize their profound
loss. He then ventured to write the current book, composed years ago, explores themes of
duty, legacy, and the enduring bonds of love for a man, regardless of the paths life presents!
